This type works for almost all types of skin, even the oily ones. It is ideal to be used in the summer as it does not clog pores and it still gets the job done.
Skin Ointment moisturizer
This formula is the heaviest and densest among the three types. It is made of eighty percent oil and only twenty percent water. The structure is such because it is ideal for severely dry skin, particularly on the areas that are most prone to dryness, such as the elbows, the knees, and the feet.
The way this works is that it helps create a barrier that aims to contain the moisture within the skin. As it is very oily, it is not ideal for individuals with oily skin.
Some additional moisturizing tips
These moisturizers won’t do all the work. You have to pair them with the appropriate habits so that you will eventually develop a hydrated and healthy skin. These tips include:
- Drinking a lot of water during the day, especially on the hot days;
- Consistently applying moisturizer daily, particularly after having a bath;
- Opting to use non-comedogenic or non-clogging moisturizer; and
